Furnace Run Park is a 226 acre parcel located at the base of South Mountain in Franklin County. Until 2017, the site was the location of about 23 acres of active sand quarries. The Township has purchased the property with the intention of a turning it into a nature park. Don’t know where it is? Plug 2244 into your Google maps, or check out the location map below.
